One contained platform. Three access configurations.

Hang T Safe is a single-use contained retrieval family with A, C and E configurations providing one, two or three independent working paths. Choose the access architecture for the planned laparoscopic workflow first, then confirm the bag-mouth size and rope option.

Quick Answer

Choose the workflow architecture before the size.

For distributors and procurement teams, the first question is how many independent working paths the planned technique requires. Then confirm the nominal bag opening, rope option and exact model code.

1 · Workflow

Plan the working paths

Consider visualization, working-instrument access and whether an additional independent path is actually required.

2 · Configuration

A, C or E

A, C and E provide one, two or three independent working sleeves / finger channels. More channels do not mean a higher product grade.

3 · Bag & Rope

40–130 mm · optional -S

Select one of five nominal bag-mouth sizes, then confirm whether a ligature rope is required.

Supply

Single-use sterile

EO sterilized with a three-year shelf life according to current labeling.

Access Architecture

A, C and E define different working-path configurations.

The letters identify the number of independent working sleeves / finger channels integrated into the contained bag. They do not define a procedure name, trocar count or product grade. Select the configuration that matches the planned technique.

Hang T Safe specification A specimen retrieval bag with one working sleeve
Specification A

1 independent working path

Streamlined access configuration with one finger channel for a planned contained workflow.

Hang T Safe specification C specimen retrieval bag with two working sleeves
Specification C

2 independent working paths

Supports separate access paths for visualization and instrument use according to the planned technique and current IFU.

Hang T Safe specification E specimen retrieval bag with three working sleeves
Specification E

3 independent working paths

Expanded access configuration when the planned technique requires additional independent instrument pathways.

Selection principle: More channels are not automatically better. Choose the architecture that matches the surgeon's planned workflow, required instrument paths and current IFU. Image note: A and C are representative product views. The E view follows the controlled three-channel Shape E diagram; confirm final color and label details against the current approved product specification before ordering.
Workflow Planning

Think in instrument pathways, not only channel count.

Before choosing A, C or E, map how the contained workspace is expected to be used. The exact sequence and compatible instruments remain IFU-led and procedure-dependent.

Visualization

How will the scope enter?

Confirm whether the planned technique requires a dedicated visualization path inside the contained workspace.

Working Instrument

How will the instrument enter?

Confirm the planned route for the morcellator or other working instrument according to the exact configuration and IFU.

Additional Access

Is another path needed?

Only select additional channels when the planned technique genuinely requires another independent instrument pathway.

Working Space

Size is not the only factor

Consider specimen geometry, deployment, intracorporeal positioning and usable working space together with nominal bag dimensions.

Model Coding

Workflow architecture × size × rope option.

After the required access configuration is clear, confirm the nominal bag-mouth size and rope state. Hang T Safe contains 30 orderable references: three access configurations × five sizes × two rope states.

HK-QW-[40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 130] [-S when rope is supplied] ([A / C / E])
Example: HK-QW-80(C) = 80 mm, two sleeves, without rope · HK-QW-80-S(C) = the corresponding model with ligature rope.

Regulatory Boundary

Verify the exact configuration and target market.

Specimen Retrieval Bag FDA 510(k) K172789 documentation is available where applicable. CE and other market statements must follow the current certificate and exact model schedule. Do not extend one model’s status to the full A / C / E family without controlled confirmation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions distributors ask before ordering.

What do A, C and E mean?

A means one independent working sleeve / finger channel, C means two and E means three. The letters describe access architecture, not product grade or a fixed procedure.

Does a higher channel count mean a better configuration?

No. Select the number of working paths according to the planned technique, instrument pathways, current IFU, surgeon judgment and hospital protocol.

What does -S mean?

The -S suffix identifies a model supplied with a ligature rope. A model without -S is supplied without the rope.

How many Hang T Safe references are available?

There are 30 references: three sleeve specifications × five nominal bag-mouth sizes × two rope states.

Which puncture-device size is required?

Use the 10 mm puncture device for 40, 60, 80 and 100 mm models. The 130 mm model uses a 12 mm puncture device.

Can the product be reused?

No. Hang T Safe is a single-use product supplied EO sterile according to current labeling.

How should regulatory status be confirmed?

Confirm the exact model and target-market scope against the current certificate, model schedule and controlled document package before registration, quotation or public claims.
