Device identification

Know which balloon each port fills

Color and letter markings help identify the two independently filled balloons. U refers to uterine, and V refers to vaginal.

Red U · uterine balloon

The red port identifies the balloon positioned on the uterine side of the cervix.

U means uterine, not urethral.

Green V · vaginal balloon

The green port identifies the balloon positioned on the vaginal side of the cervix.

Each balloon has its own filling port.

Filling medium: sterile saline only; up to 80 mL for each balloon. Do not use gas. The current IFU governs clinical placement, filling and removal.
